Since its formation by Mr and Mrs Colin Harrison on January 1, 1982 Donington Packaging Supplies Ltd has seen significant expansion, development and re-location to become one of the most successful, privately owned packaging companies in the country.

From incorporation, our company set out to establish a reputation built on offering a combination of excellent service, continuity of supply, quality products and competitive prices. The initial premises on Park Lane were soon outgrown and the land adjoining was aquired to build new warehousing, trebling the existing storage space.

With our companies growing reputation and with the increased storage space we were able to add more product lines to the range. This gave better purchasing power that enabled Donington Packaging Supplies to work more closely with many of the large local food industies and helped to obtain group contracts supplying all types of industry with PVC food overwrapping films, Pallet Wrapping, Strapping and self adhesive tapes.

The growth continued and within two years extensions were made that doubled the storage space. We then had the ability to stock a range of products that covered the majority of our customers requirements. The expansion resulted in a further increase in the level of service that we were able to offer to our ever increasing customer base, which now reached across the whole of the UK.

By 1998, the company had outgrown the existing premises on Park Lane, Donington and re-located to purpose built offices and warehouse at Kings Cross, Quadring Road, Donington. Continued growth combined with the decision to take on more product lines meant that the Park Lane Warehousing needed to be kept and today that forms an important back up for storage space of bulk items such as edge guards, bubble films, corri paper and chippings.
